Vegetable Biryani Inwards Rice Cooker

A few years dorsum,Rice cooker was something which I idea was a seldom used appliance inwards the kitchen.But now I feel it is an integral role of my kitchen.The Pulao,Biryani or whatsoever rice dish comes out perfect in a rice cooker too best office is,one time nosotros switch it on,we tin completely forget well-nigh it and become virtually our go.Isn't that neat?

Vegetable Biryani in Rice Cooker

Ingredients

Oil+Ghee - three tbsp
Cardamom - two
Cloves - 3

Coriander powder - one tsp
Haldi - i/iv tsp
Garam masala - ane/two tsp
Tomato - i,chopped
Beans - iii-iv,chopped diagonally
Carrot - 1 medium,chopped
Green peas - ane/iv loving cup
Cauliflower - iii-4 florets,chopped
Curd - 1 tbsp
Basmati rice -1 cup
Salt to gustation

For Garnish

Onion - ane,thinly sliced
Raisins and cashews - a handful
Bread slices- iii,chopped into cubes
Oil+Ghee - three tbsp

Method

Wash the rice good nether running water until the H2O runs clear.Soak for twenty minutes.
In the rice cooker pan,oestrus rock oil too add together the whole garam masala and saute for a minute.
Add the onion as well as ginger garlic glue in addition to saute until the raw aroma goes.
Mix inward the powders-chilly,coriander,haldi and garam masala.Lower the flaming too saute till the masala is well absorbed and no raw smell remains.
Add the tomatoes in addition to sprinkle a fleck H2O.Cover too ready for almost 3-4 minutes or until the tomatoes turn pulpy as well as starts leaving crude oil from the sides.
Add the vegetables,curd too mix well.
Mix inward the soaked together with drained rice together with pass on a good mix.
Add water (I added 2 cups for one loving cup of rice) together with table salt to taste.
Transfer the pan from the flaming to the cooker too switch it on.Let it fix till it shuts downwards automatically.
Meanwhile,inward a kadai add fossil oil+ghee too saute the raisins as well as cashews.
Remove together with and so saute the onions till aureate brown.
Lastly saute the staff of life cubes inwards low fire till gilt.
Lightly mix the Biryani using a fork in addition to add one-half of the sauteed items.
