Brownie Butter Cake

I've been baking quite a chip inward the terminal few days.Some for baking orders(Yes,I'1000 doing a bit of baking for orders these days,merely a tiny bit),just about for friends too close to for my pudding ;) He loves it when I bake as well as waits eagerly inwards front of the oven as well as nigh of the times tin can't await till the baked goodie is common cold plenty to consume,mamma'second male child there,completely :)
I had bookmarked this recipe from Rasa Malaysia since ages too kept pregnant to bake it only every bit e'er something or the other pops up too it gets forgotten.Last calendar week,I decided to bake it finally.I was slightly apprehensive alongside the method together with later reading the comments on the mail,more than and then.The recipe calls for baking a brownie starting time too and then pour the cake batter on height of the hot brownie.I followed the recipe generally,only did a few changesnotes at the end of the recipe

Ingredients

Brownie
Dark chocolate - 140 gms/5oz (broken into pieces)
Unsalted butter - 50gms/1/iv loving cup
Brown carbohydrate - 50 gms/1/four loving cup
Egg - 1
All-role flour - 35 gms/one/four cup
Butter cake
Unsalted butter - 120 gms/i/two cup
Sugar - 100gms/one/2 loving cup
Eggs - two
Vanilla - 1 tsp
All-purpose flour - 120 gms/i loving cup
Baking pulverization - ii gms/i/iv tsp
Fresh milk - 50 ml/three ane/two tbsp
Method
Grease and line of work a 10cm x 20cm (four×viii-inwards) loaf pan with aluminium foil.
Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
To brand brownie, melt chocolate in addition to butter over low oestrus. Remove in addition to leave to cool slightly. 
Stir in dark-brown saccharide until blended.Add in egg, mix good.
Fold inwards flour, mix until good combined. Pour batter into prepared pan. 
Bake inwards preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove.
To make butter cake, beat butter alongside sugar until creamy. Add inward eggs, ane at a time, beating well afterwards each addition.Mix inwards vanilla.
Fold inward sifted flour and baking pulverization, alternately add together in fresh milk, mix to form batter.
Spread the butter cake batter over brownie, bake inward oven at 160C/320F for 25-30 minutes or until cooked. 
Insert a cake tester in the heart to check doneness.


Notes

  • I was apprehensive to add the cake batter on elevation of the hot brownie.So I waited till the brownie was outside the oven as well as and then started with grooming of the cake batter.
  • The cooking time mentioned for the brownie was non enough for me,my brownie remained gooey after 15 minutes,I baked for a farther x minutes than specified inward the recipe.
  • The master recipe does non call for vanilla,I added it as I was afraid if not the cake may odor eggy.
  • It is easier to cut the cake when it is completely cooled.You may fifty-fifty refrigerate earlier cutting to go not bad slices.
